Warm it with a heat gun and it should peel right off in a solid strip!

A heat gun and a plastic putty knife will most likely work better than the rubber wheel for removal of the old striping.
I suggest you try it before the wheel. I think you will find the wheel removes the stripes and deposits the residue adjacent to where the stripes where located, making clean up 2x the time.
Also most of these wheels say "not for use on plastic"
Your boat is FRP, (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic).
Just my 2 cents.

I've always used a heat gun, works just fine, even on old brittle striping. You may need a good glue remover, sometimes the glue comes off with the striping and sometimes it stays on the hull.

One thing to add about heat guns......if you are not used to them , be careful as they can get quite hot and you can burn the gel coat if too aggressive .....just go easy, warming is usually good enuf.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

You can check with greatlakesskipper dot com. They have a lot of the OEM parts, especially from models that are no longer produced.
