Geez, that looks great, nice job... :worthy: .....13 hours huh... :-O ....I would have a hospital stay after that.. :-D

What did you end up using ?
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

I use the 3M Imperial Compound and then I finish off with 3M Ultra Performance Paste Wax.. I seem to get a better result than I did when I used a one step Cleaner/Restorer wax. However, these are good for getting into those tight area's where it has to be done by hand. But, I always finish off with the Ultra Performance paste wax. Was up at the marina yesterday with 20 degree C temps. Was a great day. Couple more days ahead of me to prep for a May 4 Splash day.

Pepmyster, that turned out really good. You should be proud of that result.

Thanks for all the compliments! The wife and I have always done our crazy projects together. As I buffed, yes my arms hurt, she sanded the anti fouling and redid it all!!!

That bottom paint is the worst. I would rather wax than sand and paint the bottom. Koodoo's to your wife man :worthy:

I am aware of the 3M Finesse It product. What is the advantage to using it between the compound and the wax? I may add it to the process.

Removes any swirls and adds gloss to the finish. Did it help? I believe so, at least, I hope so......
