sliding door lock

Postby tjh408 » September 7th, 2019, 7:54 pm

I am trying to get keys for the locks on our 360 Sport Sedan. So far no luck matching the key blank? At least we have one key.

Something that might be worth a try. When I bought my Carver there were no keys to the cabin door so I could not lock up the boat. Even so that will not keep out a determined criminal. Anyway, I have a Perko lock on the door. I took the number from the lock, called Perko to see if I could get a key. They had 2 keys in stock with that number and for I believe $5 they sent both of them to me.

Now I can lock the cabin when I leave.

All boats I have owned including my Carver had Mobella/Southco keys for entry keys so assume this is what you have. That being said, take the number from the key you have and search eBay for Mobella with your number after Mobella. Tons of them available, even blanks if you want to make your own. This is what the head of those keys look like. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R ... s&_sacat=0

Another possibility is West, not sure if these can be found but there are others that make the same blank, see here.https://ekeyblanks.com/wst3-si/

Call Carver, he will tell you the number and send you a key. I think it was $9 for mine.
Thank you for the help!

Is there a number stamped on your key? If it's a Mobella 800 or 900 series, there should be a 3 digit number on it. Some of their locks have the number stamped on the cabin side of the lock assembly. Can you post a pic of the lock or key.

You can get precut keys if you know the code or blanks from these guys, I've ordered from them several times;

Thanks, the key I have must be a replacement or cpoy, no number. I'll give Carver a call tomorrow. The lock says WEST on it.

See my post above with a link to the equivalent West key. With a blank just visit and place they cut keys.
