Good evening all,

Does anyone know the prop shaft length on a 1986 3227 Convertible?

If you contact Carver with your hull number, they should be able to tell you what your boat was shipped out with and the supplier contact information.

Why do you need this info? Are you wanting to get one fabricated without removing the old one first? If so, I would not recommend it. Always best to send the old one to the machine shop so they can duplicate the exact spec for length, tapers, threads, etc.

Thanks for the reply Viper. I'm looking to purchase a 3227 and am looking for this information so I can judge replacement cost and most sites need a length to give a quote.
