Parts manuals

Postby PossiblyPaul » September 26th, 2020, 12:27 pm

Reading the answers to a question today I saw bud37's reply referring to a parts manual: https://carveryachts.blob.core.windows. ... ual_96.pdf
...which would be invaluable to me, running a 1988 Voyager, if there was such a document for that boat. Some of the electricals on my boat continue to severely baffle me (although some of that may be due to modifications since built).

Is there? Does anyone know of one? The Carver site seems to only start producing them from the mid 90's.

Yep, got that one, g36; that was the first resource I looked at all those months ago. The plans and diagrams in the reference above, however, are exactly the sort of thing that would make this winter's work much easier - only for one minor detail, which is measurements of 'floorplans' etc. I've had experience of doing templates for Treadmaster renewal, and it wasn't a happy task for the hamfisted me. All of the detail on parts and part numbers would be quite invaluable.
Still, a bit of work on 'Visio' fills out the long evenings...

It may be possible and I repeat "may" be, that Carver still has some parts manuals for your boat. Reach out to them and see what they have if you think it will help, Ya never know what comes of it.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.
