fender cleat

fender cleat

i have a 2008 Carver Mariner. there are 2 fender cleats at the steps going up. one of them broke but cannot figure out how to attach a new one. cannot get to it through the engine room. thoughts?

Do you have that bolster on the inside of the cockpit by the steps.....if so look behind there.....in earlier ones there was access to the fuel fill hose/fitting, at least there was on ours. Worth a look.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

thanks. it still is too far away. will just try some screws and see if that works. appreciate your help
