1998 Carver 530 Malber Dryer Not Heating

Postby kkochner » August 3rd, 2021, 10:46 pm

My Malber dryer stopped heating and my repair guy can’t find the replacement heat element because as we all know Malber no longer exist.

Any ideas on where to get the part or recommendations on replacement unit? Maybe it’s time to replace the washer and dryer…they are 23 years old!

Thanks for any help…obviously they need to fit in the same space etc.

I thought heater elements were more or less generic, where one size will fit multiple brands. Pull the old one and go to an appliance parts dealer. $5 says they will have one that fits.

I agree with buster53. You can also try contacting a large RV dealer, they might have new old stock available.
