Postby lakegirl » January 30th, 2015, 10:06 am

recent purchase, trying to do my maintenance a little at a time.

where are the fuel filters on my 99 carver mariner 350 with crusader engines?
I see the aquacool cylinder and have looked the length of the fuel lines for fuel filter canisters or pancakes

am I blind? 8-) lol

Sierra marine makes a replacement filter for your application.

This is my next project. My 6.2 engines currently have the Mallory Marine filter.

Check yours also for a metal canister inline filter, close to the fuel tanks. That filter , which is clamped into the fuel line, grabs particulate in the fuel, while the spin on canisters are for water separation. I'm planning to replace both sets very shortly. I believe the inline particle filters are generic to all engines.
