Anyone have or used a Techmate Pro scanner on their engines to get the codes, etc? Mike

I do not have the techmate. I did order the codemate and it came in last week. I plan to test it out this evening.

Well hope they both work as good as the one I have to check vehicles, I think it will be an asset. Mike

I hooked up my codemate yesterday and got code 12 which is nothing. Just means the reader is working. The codemate has all the troublecodes printed on the case. I think it was $99. If you are just looking for code info then the codemate is the way to go. If you are looking for realtime RPM etc, which would be useful to verify guage accuracy etc, then it looks like techmate is the way to go. Me, im saving the other $400 I didnt spend on the techmate for when something breaks!
