Exhaust risers

Thanks I too tried that. All the listings, including ebay are BARR castings not Crusader, at least all the ones I saw were. It appears Crusader doesn't sell the 98126 anymore and I'm pretty sure OSCO doesn't either. From what I can see BARR is the only manufacturer making them. I think the "new style's" design helps prevent water reversion which is why it's an inch and a half taller. The 98126 -"old style" is a low profile. I'm not really a fan of BARR but I'll use them if I have to. I'm just trying to find out if the new style will fit my boat with out having to drive an hour to measure it out. Thanks for your reply.

I surely don't want to sidetrack this, just a question.....do you know who the original supplier was to Crusader or did they have their own cast proprietary.

I don't know who cast the originals. I would suspect they farmed this production out and they don't do it in-house. This is purely speculation though.

I might get to the boat Wednesday and maybe I can take a measurement 4 u. 1.5" isn't a lot but if we r close to the floor grid it could be an issue. Especially if future aligning of the engines was in order? I'll let u know what I find.

They are in Canada but try Anthony Keats Marine. They may be able to steer you to a source in the States. At the very least, they'll probably be able to answer your questions re OEM parts.

Well there seems to be room for and additional 1.5" riser height. But if your engines after mounting and alignment are higher than mine are presently sitting, its going to be tight. If you go with the higher riser you may end up with the riser now inside the floor grid system and if the taller riser happens to be a little bit wider, you may have your new riser rubbing on the floor grid system.

Thanks, that's good info. & I appreciate your effort. I contacted Viper's recommendation and they indicated they can get OEM Crusader parts. I'll follow up after everything's been completed.
