I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. More to come.

Well, it looks like it came off!!!

What would worry me though... is all that rust inside the exhaust passage in both the manifold and the head!

Maybe that's what they mean by "Salt Life!"??

Looks like maybe some reversion in that one cylinder exhaust ( hard to tell maybe #5 ).....how does that spark plug look compared to the others??

Hopefully minor and will get dealt with after installing all the new parts....
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

The plug in cylinder 5 looks the same as the others.

Yep, busted. It's a clean out port in the GAS tanks. I've got to figure out what I'm going do to fix that. I heard they are "grandfathered in" as far as compliance. But I don't sleep well knowing a little piece of rubber gasket is the difference between a "good time" or a "bad time". But for what it's worth I use the aux tank and keep less than 1/4 in the port and stb fuel tanks... that's the previous owner. Which I have just found out that the exhaust manifold gasket was installed backwards.

By the way, I got the other manifold off. Took me 2 hours.

I have a brand new can of "Spot Shot" to manage any crumbs! But i just dumped all liquids in a bucket and used a tremendous amount of paper towels...
