motor rotation

Postby Pit stop » October 2nd, 2019, 12:33 pm

I need a new starter for my 1994 Trojan 370 express.
It is the starboard motor.
Is is a right hand motor or a left hand motor?

Eric - take a look at the serial number on the engine. It may display an RH or LH at the end of the number. R = right, L = left. If not, contact the manufacturer with the number. Finally, contact Carver with your Hull#. They should have the build log on file, if they owned Trojan at that point. Can't recall which year they purchased Trojan. 8-) er

For 1994 they should both be left hand rotation.
But as mentioned verify with the serial number.

Thank you to all.
I like this club.
It turns out that it was a right hand, [not standard]' the firing order on the intake manifold s are the same, but the firing order on the distributors are different.
I found the correct firing orders in the service manual.
Also my 1994 was made by Carver, and the motors are opposite.
Thanks Eric :usa:
