Carver Voyager 450 8.3 Idle Speed
I am close to purchasing a 2000 450 with the 8.3 6CTA Engines. The previous owner is running the idle speed adjustment on setting two on the Power Commander EC-100.
I am going to get some help from a diesal guy to adjust the idle rpm (one engine is running a little faster than the other) and I was wondering whether there are target RPM settings for position 1, 2 and 3?
Thanks in advance.
I have already learned a lot from this great resource,
Steve

Re: Carver Voyager 450 8.3 Idle Speed
Our Carver 440, the 6CTA8.3's must run a different RPMs for the engine sync to work properly.
Hope this helps
