Twin Disc Ec 100 controls

Postby Sgodfrey » July 20th, 2019, 5:22 pm

Hello

I have recently upgrade the controls on a carver 450 and have two throttles and two actuators that were working when removed. I intend to scrap but wanted to offer them to the community first. Any reasonable offer accepted.

Obviously they are as is. No cables.

Do you still have these controls? Would be interested in purchasing. Alan

Just replaced my Twin Disc Ec-100 controls on my Voyager 530 because no parts or second hand were available. I thus have these to offer to owners who are stuck with these obsolete controls with no parts available.

I find that I am also looking for EC 100 parts. I plan to replace the whole system in the fall but right now I’m having issues with one of the electronic to mechanical units. If anyone out there has something please let me know. :usa:

What is your problem? I have had several with mine. Specifically the handles were way out of sync. I ended up having someone come work on them and they found that the linkage on my port engine was lose (I have seen this issue talked about in several forums). There was also a spring that needed to be replaced…. I the control I believe. If you are someplace where there is a TwinDisc service person close by I would have them take a look. It only cost me a few hundred dollars. I am still not 100% happy and would like to replace them, but they are functional enough now that I probably won’t spend the 10k or whatever it would cost. Just my 2 cents.
