New to the forum-Rollnd

Postby Rolland » November 28th, 2016, 6:18 pm

HI all-Have had my 1988 Santego 27 for almost 20 years, and serviced it for the original owner since almost new. Has been out of the water and on blocks since the crash. Finally ready to use it again, in the process of pulling both engines and resealing everything and replacing all the rubber parts. Have spare engines and out drives so is mainly labor. Also replacing all the plastic throug hulls, servicing the a/c, etc. Plan on using her in fresh water from now on, Mississippi and Tennessee rivers. I kept this boat because I've always been able to trailer her and never leave in the water over long periods of time. Happy to find this group, hope you all have a great holiday season! Rolland

Welcome aboard!
I went all stainless through hulls when we rehabbed or Carver. Also the new flush tank vents sure clean up the look of the hull.
Post pix!
Thanks
