Viper, yes we are on the salt water of the North Sea. It's easy for us to sail along the coast line to Belgium of even France.
It's also easy to cross a 200 miles to the UK. Anyway The Netherlands is a real water country with lots of canals and lakes. Lots of Marinas to overnight or staying as long as you want to. Also the big European rivers like the Rhine all end up through Rotterdam into the North Sea, so enough water to enjoy.

Wow, nice boat Robert!
I have to ask. Did you do the modification to the aft seating area with the overhang and second set of steps? Was that stock from Carver? Either way, that's absolutely brilliant! If the 390 or 355 have any shortcomings it's that there isn't really enough space on that level to have a group seated and still be able to move through easily when necessary.
