Anyone know what amp my big accessory charger is please ?

It should state the amperage on the cover of the charger. Or at least the model number. example 1230 would be 12v 30 amp.

My friends 38ss has to Charles battery chargers, one is a 20 amp and one is a 10 amp. Not sure that yours would be the same though. It will say right on the charger itself in the engine compartment.

Mine is a 2005 38SS and the large charger is a 60 amp Charles.

Heh Peter, is your boat European spec or North American....I don't know but may make a difference ..

There are a few times when I wish I was 4' tall. Working on a boat is one of those times. I am happy to be at 6' though wouldn't want to be a permanent 4' tall.

Mine is also a 60A charles with a separate 10a for the generator. Looks like Carver went with the 60a units in the newer boats. Newer meaning mid 2000 or so. Although I do not have a dwarf handy I do have access to a contortionist for those impossible places. :-D
