Storage Box on Swim Platform

Postby bobfino » March 27th, 2014, 3:53 pm

I have the 2005 Carver 396. On the swim platform there is a storage/dock box that I feel is in the way. I have a dock box on the dock so I really don't need the additional storage. Has anybody removed the box and if so what can I expect to find underneath? Is the fiberglass finished off and just a few holes to be filled.
Thanks Bob

As the box was an option, the platform should be finished with non-skid with only the mounting holes through it...Removing it will definitely make that platform way larger ad more useful

What did you do with the storage box on the swim platform? I have a 2000 396 Aft Cabin with no storage box and I would like to have one.
