Oddly enough a hydraulic trailer is quite standard up here. Travel lifts are far and few between. In fact mine also gets hauled with a trailer every fall.

The travel lift was being lent to the marina beside us, they , our marina, have the lift and 2 trailers, I've seen the trailer being used on huge boats before so I was very confidant, they 2 guys who did the job were very careful, came out like a charm. Hans , I'll ask my wife and I'll call you with her answer!!!!! :approve:

At my marina all boats are pulled from the water via a travel lift. Then they are put onto a trailer and hauled to where they will be stored either outside or inside. Once they are on location then they are set on blocks for their winters nap.

Its an interesting process. In the spring the process is reversed.

Getting ready to pull my boat out of the water for the first time also. Just bought it in May and was just getting familiar with it and Winters is here, what a drag.
