Also, you have the tank equalizing valve to equal both tanks out. Open the valve and gravity will allow the tanks to flow into one another until they are both at the same level. I highly doubt that this is vausing the boat to list this much - unless you keep forgetting to add diesel to the one tank! You would have to have one tank with double the amount of the oppostite.

Coring could also be saturated above the water line from leaking penatrations above the water line.
Thanks

You are suggesting that the core soaked above the water line would be enough to cause the boat to list ??? C'mon.....perhaps there is too many ice cubes in the left side of the ice maker...

Lyndon
Re grey water, does yours drain directly out of the boat? Go to a holding tank and then pumped out? After winterizing, now that boat is back in the water , we seem to be holding grey water, is there a sea cock that should be opened? If so where is it?
Have asked many here and not found anyone who knows!
Tks

I believe the grey water pumps to the front shower sump(s), but I can check for you when I get back down to the boat. There is now seacock to open - it will pump above the water line. The front head(s) and vanity(s) will join together and with go I to the sump or straight over - but I will check.

Why do you think you are holding grey?

On a routine bilge check I noticed fairy clear but pinkish water in the bilge. Not much water but pink and I thought the aft shower was leaking. there is a holding tank around the sump and it was completely full. I then checked the front sump and it was at least three quarters full.Ww have been aboard since April15 and I am concerned where all the water has gone to. I have checked all through the engine room and no moisture.
Maybe I just need to replace sumps. Front sump had tripped electrical but once I emptied all water it has stayed on. Will watch what happens today with regular use.

did you try to manually engage the pump in the sump? Could just be the float with grime on it...boiling hot water and straigt spray nine poured into the box should clean it up.

Did you solve this?

FWIW, I had a small list to port that I believe was caused by fresh water tanks. The fill is on the port side and the starboard tank is filled via a tee in the port fill line. The trouble was the starboard fill line was routed high and it seemed to air lock. The starboard tank did not fill up, it stayed almost empty. It would eventually level out as the pump suctions were also tee's, but that took a while. Until it leveled out, I had a small list to port.

I don't know if this would apply to your boat, But....

They are located under the floor in your master. Depending on what hull number you have, will either be in the bilge or access under the mattress.
