Just purchased our 1981 Carver 3607 Aft Cabin "FOOTLOOSE" last month. What a lovely lady she is. Hope to have many a good time aboard for years to come. Twin Pleasurecraft 225 hp V-8 diesels that purr like kittens.

Welcome!
225 diesels? I never heard of that. Sounds neat.
Thanks

I have never heard of those. Is that an old John Deer engine?

Robbab,
Thanks for the congrats.

Waybob and Lyndon670,
I have been told they are the same diesels as what the school busses use except made for marine use by Pleasurecraft. They actually say INTERNATIONAL on the 'valve covers' (not sure if that's what they are called on the diesels).

Ok, that make sense. The old Internationals were used on every piece of farm equipment back then. I'm sure you will see many reliable and efficient hours with those.

Good luck!
