I have installed KVH TracVision on many boats. The antenna must have a clear view of the sky from about 30 - 70 degrees in all directions. I typically use a mount by PYI Seaview. The rest is running the wires and mounting the junction box and receivers. Let me know if I can help you out.

Thanks Larry, the Track-it-tv is not the same as a dome unit like TracVision. You must install the track-it-tv is such a way as you can adjust the elevation of the dish. It tracks azimuth but not elevation which must be adjusted ever 60 miles of north south travel.

Hello to All, What I have found to be a great alternative to kvh and others is a Sling Box. I've used it on the last 2 boats on my lap top and just installed the Amazon fire tv on my New C40. Sling box works on the net from your home tv. I have wi-fi and 4G the saving is tremendous. Total hardware cost is under $700.00 Good luck

That is exactly what I am using. I have set up a wifi connection on my boat and have an Android stick on all of the TV's. No need for Tracvision or anyother connection. If I have a cell connection - I have TV.
