APEX stitching Seattle area
We spoke to a dockmate at Elliott Bay Marina who had new canvas/Poly-carbon enclosure done by Dan, looks awesome!
Just wondering if any Carver specific owners have used him, and or where there issues involved?
We'd like to keep/Re-use same Helm framework, but understand poly-carbon panels have their own quirks (can't roll up!) so wondering what design innovations where performed? if so, how do you like it? would you do it like that again?
Our canvas enclosure is showing it's age, i believe its O.E.M as it's Prestige? 13yrs or more.

Re: APEX stitching Seattle area
We discussed options around utilizing MAKROLON window's, and options to wrap around corners on helm area and patio area.
He suggested one piece helm sides to eliminate 2 seams and relocate opening side window positions easier access.
He'll pattern our old canvas and adjust as required, minimizing the the number of panels and placing zipper seams behind Bimini top frame poles.
We'll be getting a larger opening window over our patio couch as well.
Just need better weather so we can remove canvas for patterning.

Dan installed our updated aft patio area enclosure with poly-carbonate windows. We couldn't be happier! It's like having an 80" HD screen across the back. Clarity is awesome.
Can't wait to get the helm area updated next, and finally a "new" salon shun shade, as our OEM one is nearing shredding stage.
