Small world! We lived in MD for almost 20 years. Most of it in Riva on the South River... the last 3 On Kent island. Liveaboards at the Bay Bridge Marina. The winters were a little harsh so we moved south :)

Hi all.
We just bought our first boat, a 1986 Carver 4207. Twin 454 Crusaders and a 7.5kw Kohler generator.
I am Chris and my wife, Janet, can't wait to take possession of her in a weeks. We'll be staying in Regatta Point Marina in Palmetto, Fla. A beautiful place. We have a pooch also and her name is Millie. A German Shepard Dog mixed with yellow Lab? She loves the water!
We are in Montana now, due to work before I got disabled. We're in our late 50's - 60's.
we're glad we found a forum with the same interests as ourselves. Looking forward to some interesting discussions and maybe future help.
Thanks all for your time.
Keep the keel on the downside!

Hi all,

We just purchased a 2000 Carver 396 AC with Cummins Diesels, and will be based in Northern VA. We are excited to find the owner's group to share our experiences and pick the brains of others. We have made a lot of family boating trips, mostly sail, but some motoryacht charters, but this is our first boat ownership and we already have an emerging punchlist of questions!!

Looking forward to our new adventures onboard "Weather or Knot", and being a part of the Carver Community.

Happy Boating
