1982 3007 AC

Postby dec813 » April 27th, 2015, 3:36 pm

Am looking at purchasing this boat. Anyone know if this model has a closed cooling system, or if the engines circulate seawater? Anyone who has taken this boat on open ocean, and how it handles?

I'm soliciting any advice or experience anyone has with this or similar boat.

Thanks in advance!

All inboard gas powered engines can either be raw water cooled or closed cooling. As a rule of thumb most originally purchased on the coast will be closed cooled, those purchased for lakes and rivers open cooled. Closed cooling will be an option on a new boat purchase. I can not say how this boat will take to the ocean but, a 30' aft cabin will be a bit top heavy. :captain:
