Raymarine E127 Question

Postby mikeK » October 14th, 2014, 12:44 pm

I recently purchased a Raymarine E127 chart plotter. Unfortunately it doesn't contain a port to connect a remote buzzer or alarm speaker so I can hear the anchor drift alarm or radar proximity alarm when I'm in the aft berth sleeping.

Has anybody figured out a "work around" for this?

Easiest solution is Anchor Watch HD - download it and install it on your smartphone. Then sleep well.

I'm not sure what you mean by port...

There should be an output wire coming from the e127 that you can wire to a low current draw buzzer. If you want to power a high current buzzer you will need to wire a relay. Look at the wiring documentation for the unit...

Good Luck
