Postby HappyPlaceIII » September 20th, 2015, 12:46 pm

I need to replace the sanitation hoses on my 1992 33 Aft cabin. Does anyone have a recommentaion for a 1-1/2" hose?

We have been using PVC for straight runs and 1.5" sanitation hose to make connections. The stink seems to permeate the hose in just a few years and pvc doesn't.It's also cheaper!

Vertus makes a "no smell" impermeable waste hose.
I am guessing there are other vendors as well.
Thanks

Once you replace the hoses, use a product called Noflex. It's what they use on freighters and ocean liners. Drop a teaspoon in end of each day and a 1/4 cup if the boat will be vacant for 5 days or more. Lines will be clean, sensors will work properly and if you unscrew the pump out cap on the deck, there will virtually no smell.
