'89 Montego 2157 Portlight?

Postby drosteo » October 3rd, 2021, 10:27 pm

Hi all,

bought this boat a couple of years ago in Sydney Australia and am needing to replace the aft bed portlight. Wondering if someone can tell me what brand and model they are as there are no identifying names etc i can see on the one thats in there.

Also wondering if anyone has a link to replace the 2 side windows as all the rubbers have perished and the aluminium is heavily oxidised?

Many thanks

Thank you. To minimise the amount of drama with replacing I was hoping to be able to replace it with the same as what's there currently. Does anyone know which company made the portlights for this boat? And where I may be able to get a replacement?

Use that link Grafunkus posted. The interior pic definitely shows a Grey Industries portlight, and Grey was bought out by Bomar who was subsequently bought out by Pompanette. If you send some pictures and some dimension to their customer service folks, they might be able to match it up with something they used to produce. They might still be able to make replacements, but you might have to wait a bit. Once you get the model or part numbers, you can search around to see if some retailer might still have something in stock.

Did you ever get the side windows replaced? Mine are in the same condition. Would love to be able to air out the bathroom
