Specs for 39' CPMY

Postby tonyiiiafl » February 19th, 2016, 4:52 pm

As I am a proud owner of a 1994 39' CPMY, sadly it is in Maine resting for the winter and I am on Cape Cod, MA. I am reayding to buy my zincs, but don't have the sizes. Does anyone know:

1) The shaft size
2) Transom zinc size
3) Trim Tab zinc size

Thanks in advance!

Hi Tony
I don't know the size for your boat , but when I hauled my 456 , the marina that did my work , easily found all the zincs you mentioned. Fairly inexpensive as i recall. I'll look for my invoice and will give you my details.

also, how many do you have on the shafts? I have seen 1, 2 and 3 on the shafts. Can you "over zinc"?

I don't think you can with zinc but you can with magnesium in fresh water applications.

Don't know if it applies to your boat, my '99 404 cpmy has 1.5 inch shafts with two zincs each.
