Hello,

I recently purchased a 1989 3807. I am refurbishing. I would love advice on the best places to locate carpet, furniture and other Carver products.

Thanks

Welcome aboard!
I think for carpet and furniture, find somebody local. For the aft deck get something made for outdoors.
Carver went bk between 1989 and now. They have some resources, but most you'll have to wing it.
Thanks

Great to have another 3807 aboard. Welcome.

I agree with Fred on carpet, shop local suppliers. Carver has very little if anything for our vintage, however, they can steer you in the direction of any third party manufacturer they used for hardware, furniture, etc. who may still be able to produce some of the items you'd need. Ebay is also a good source, and of coarse feel free to ask the members here.

Hope we can be of some help with your project. How much refurbishing does she need?

When thinking furniture, unless it's custom I would look into stores specializing in condo furnishings. They are designed for smaller spaces and not as deep. Be cautious of the sizes because the entry to the saloon is narrow and bringing something in through the windows would be next to impossible. Have fun with your project though. Post some pics!

Thanks all. I found a local carpet company. Lazy Boy recliners backs can be removed giving enough clearance to install. The boat has 388 hours on the motors and 426 on the generator. I'm planning on doing the bottom paint this fall. Other than that she is very clean.
