New canvas complete, look great. Window back in. Plastic to keep yet another weekend of rain off the 5200 while it cures.

Hello all, finally launched this past Friday late afternoon. spent Saturday doing checks of engines, systems, etc. Fueled up Sunday morning and made a 25 mile cruise to our new marina. Water on the Chesapeake was smooth, weather was nice until about halfway through the trip, then ran into a T-storm with heavy rain. We would have missed the storm, but the grandkids wanted to stop at a beach and swin for a couple hours. Hard to say no.
Boat ran great, no issues.
A couple pictures from the bridge in our new marina...
It also backed into the slip like it belonged there, even in the down pour!! :usa:
Hope everyone had a great Memorial day!

I believe the boats are nearly identical. your 356 has aft cabin portals rather than the large mostly useless (windows are behind the shower and closets) rear windows of the 355. An upgrade as far as I am concerned.
So far very happy with it. repaired the windows, building new aft head cabinets, had carpets cleaned etc.
Wife added all new interior décor, it looks really good for an 18 year old boat.
I installed a new stereo system for the bridge / aft deck with Sirius of course, a new Raymarine A97 plotter, working on re bedding and resealing all the 18 year old joints and fasteners with new 5200.
I need to post some pictures.
Anyway, I don't believe I helped you much, but I have become very familiar with the boat, if you have any specific questions, let me know. I may be able to help.
