Carver 404

Postby RReardon » August 26th, 2017, 9:46 pm

Hi Fellow Carver Boaters

I have a 2000 carver 404 with twin merc engines. Question:

1). Where do I check the transmission fluid. Where is the dipstick ?
2) where do I add he fluid?

Thanks
Rich

There will be a dipstick on the top of the tranny. It'll likely have a T handle on it. First hold the base of it, then unwind the handle and pull it up. Usually on the port side of the tranny. I think that's the type you have. You empty and fill through the dipstick hole.
