I have a section of panel that I can lift out without disturbing my batteries that gives me access there.
G, is your genny battery under the genny too like the 355s?

No it's battery is not under the genset. It's sitting in between the stringers on the same level as my start and house bank batteries are. I ve got a couple feet on the lower level shelf which is made up of 2 individual sections and butts up to the genset that i can pull up to visually see the bilge then there's a second shelf over the batteries on top of the stringers. Ive been a few 355"s i have a couple friends that have those. There is way more room in my 405 I can get in the engine bay easily and have plenty of room midship and forward of the engines to sit and do any thing needed. I'm 63 and very thankful for the access I have.
