Carver Soft Goods

Just a small note about soft goods on Carver boats/ yachts (curtains, canvas, upholstery, carpet, etc). Carver has always made these items in house. They never subcontracted these items out. The only exceptions would be inner spring mattresses (not foam ones) and Flexsteel furniture. All wood items, railings and plexiglass/ starboard items are also made in house. They typically keep patterns active for approximately 7 years after a model has ended production. Just thought this might be helpful information for people who are looking to replace these items or looking for the vendor that supplied them.

I did I did! Thought they might shrink so we did on delicate, in cold water, hung to dry. Didn't matter, they still shrunk :banghead: We had already planned to replace them but wanted to buy a bit more time so we still use them but replacement is on the bucket list. Take them to the dry cleaners!

Just washed ours. 2002-404. Sliding door to cockpit curtains fell apart. Others were fine. Be gentle.

Thanks for this advice! I removed the curtains from my boat with the idea of a good cleaning, but hesitated throwing them into the washer. I will definitely have them dry cleaned instead!

We had ours dry cleaned. I had to sign a paper saying the cleaners weren't responsible for any damage, but they came out great!

Thank you for the information! I have an 2000 396 and I would like to replace some of the interior vinyl. Does anyone know if the white can be matched, and where I could get it?
