Welcome to the forum.......do you have a big red button on your electrical panel, generally the panel that has the battery switch etc on it.....if so , that is the breaker switch for the some brands of windlass.

Is it just not working all of a sudden ?
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.....

I would look under the bottom step in the salon that you enter from the sundeck. It will probably hinge up and you'll see it and some other breakers and probably a battery selector switch too.

Welcome aboard. Ya I agree with g36, for that vintage it's typical to be under the bottom step.

On our 396 it is in the "Safety Panel" which is located in the master (aft) stateroom. Lot's of safety related breakers there (bilge pumps, sump pumps, battery charger breakers, etc)

We have not found it.

Swapped the old freedom 800 to RC 8.

Done and it works

Still keep looking, there must be a breaker for that windless somewhere, haven't seen any without one! :beergood:
