I have just bought a new FF chart plotter combo for my 404. Does anyone know the best way to run the cable from the engine room to the helm? There must be a duct or conduit for such a run.
Thanks,

On my '99 404 there is a trough in the flybridge deck on the port side of the helm. To remove the cover you first have to remove the monkey fur shelving on the port side of the flybridge. You will also be able to follow the helm cables aft and then down towards the salon. In the salon pull the couch out from the corner to get to the wall access cover and the floor hatch, you should be able to see the cables coming down from the bridge. To run cables up to the bridge I found it easiest to push a fish tape up first and then pull down a pull string to pull the actual cables.
Good luck and have fun.

While pulling, run an extra nylon string for the next time you have to do it. Tie the ends off to something solid at each end.
