Winterize Fresh Water & AC Systems
Would someone to tell me where the water pump, AC pump and water tank are located in order to winterize the fresh water
and AC.
Thank you for any help offered.

Re: Winterize Fresh Water & AC Systems
My 3807 is an '89 so I don't know if anything had changed in those two years but my fresh water pump is under the stairs to the galley and dinette. There is a small hatch in the floor under the stairs. The pump isn't easy to get at and is on my bucket list of things to move to a better location. Forward of that hatch is another one where you'll see two freshwater tanks if it's the same as mine. There should also be a shower sump there where the shower and forward air conditioner drain into. There is also a hatch in the floor in the v-berth. My AC pump, strainer and seacock are in front of the starboard engine.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Re: Winterize Fresh Water & AC Systems
Best advice I can give you, get a good flashlight and open every hatch you see. When you do that, you will find the 7 thru hulls located in the engine room and realize what each is for (follow the hoses). You will find the AC water pump in front of the starboard engine, the fresh water pump located under the stairs, the forward sump pump just outside the forward head and the aft shower sump at the foot of the aft berth. You should see the 3 bilge pumps as well.

I'm thinking we are not going to hear from him again.
