Check easy stuff first; make sure your evaporator is clean and not full of dust, hair, etc. There's usually a metal filter mesh in front of it that can be removed and vacuumed or rinsed.
I trust you have plenty of water flow coming out of all the AC discharge ports? Check the strainer and ensure it's clear.
Other possibilities are; refrigerant issue, control panel or control board, reversing valve stuck in heat cycle...

Thanks, I will look at it this weekend

If you have a large intake vent in the cabin for this unit, check it as well, they sometimes have filters also.

Are you getting good volume of air flow Dave? My filter was completely bunged up....

as the others mentioned, check the basics, filter coils etc. When you say cool not cold, can you elaborate a bit? Is it 90 degrees in the cabin and the a/c is blowing 70 degree air? If so you don't have a problem, you just need to give the unit time to catch up. Depending on the unit, and the airflow through it you should see a temp drop (room or return air / supply or discharge air) of about 12 to 20 degrees. This will very based upon temp and humidity in the cabin and the water temp that is cooling the condenser.

The air flow is not as good as the rear main salon unit, the unit in question thermostat never drops below 78, the rest of the units blow really cold air and the temp will go down to 74 where they are set
Lyndon, I will check the filter first thing Thursday when I return, I hear your not at Starport any longer.

Dave, your coils could be freezing up. When you max out on the ac side (78), try turning up the tstat to 82. That should switch the unit into the heat mode and if it's frozen should thaw the coils. Once you hit 80, drop it down to 70. I have to do this on my master unit when the temp diffential is extreme. I can get all of my units to to about 64....my wife complains I could hang meat in the salon!
There is also a reversing valve on the to if the unit you may have to tap if it's stuck in the heat mode.
Long story on the Starport point...leave it for a face to face.

I cleaned the intake filters and condenser coils, they were pathetic. The front salon unit is still not giving cold air, the amount of air has increased. The compressor kicks on but that's it, the coil does not get cold
