Need help locating the meter for the potable water tank. Documents says the boat has one, I see the wiring coming from the water tank, just can't find the meter? Help again!

Hi, I have a 2000 406 and my water tank monitor is in the rear head next to the light/fan/head switches. Just under the counter top.

Thanks to all. I will check it out this weekend. I plan on sanitizing the water system, per the method I read here, and using the water from the tank exclusively. The water monitor will be a valuable tool.

Well found the meter right where g36 stated. Unfortunately it is not registering the tank level. It show's empty and the tank is full. Today while working on another problem I noticed alot of crosion on the wire terminals at the tank. I will clean them to see if it corrects the problem??

Have a close look at the terminals on the tank, see if there are two small adjusting screws on the plate, if so then you can adjust the tank gage reading with those..full and mt..instructions would be in owners manual....I know ours has that, but have a look....... :beergood:

Following up on this post. Found the terminals heavily corroded. Scrapped and cleaned with contact cleaner. Adjusted the two pots back and forth. Had no effect on meter. Measured+12 vdc on power terminal and +8 vdc on other terminal. Adjusting pots did not vary voltage (+8vdc)

Does any know the mfg'r of this unit? Thanks
