Fresh water pump anti vibration mount
My current mount is a scrap 1 inch piece hose that they mounted pump to. There has to be something better.
I am also adding a accumulator tank into the mix for less pulse. This is why I need a new mount.

Another method used to reduce noise is a short piece of flexible hose. https://www.amazon.ca/SHURFLO-94-591-01-Pump-Silencing-Kit/dp/B000WN5F96

That , believe it or else is one of the best methods, usually suggested. They had some upgraded thicker rubber pads with the newer pumps.

The 1 1/4" gives you room to put nuts on the pump bolts inside the hose.

Please elaborate on this part. I don’t understand what your describing.

Viper wrote:Source of the post Keep it simple. Your current setup is the best method IMO. I've tried few things and it seems to work best. The idea is to isolate the fasteners from contacting both the pump and the mounting surface. A single fastener on both surfaces will transfer noise, vibration, etc. I agree with Tom in that the current hose isn't the best choice. Something more pliable is best. The vinyl hose Tom mentioned is good and while it may collapse a bit over time, it'll still do the job. Try to get a good marine grade hose as it will cope with all the nasty stuff in a typical bilge. An accumulator won't stop the pump from vibrating but it will decrease the number of times a pump cycles. Either way, the best you can hope for is to minimize the noise, chances are you won't get rid of it completely.
I had mentioned vinyl hose in the above post but you can also use PVC hose as long as it's the more flexible type rather than the rigid sanitation hose you currently have. Really depends on the design. Some PVC hoses are more flexible than vinyl and some vinyl more flexible than PVC. The hose you have now is typically a combination of both as they each have desirable qualities for that application.
