Pressure Regulator Check Valve

Postby lsmith146 » June 25th, 2020, 7:48 am

I have a 1988 Carver 3867 Santego and the pressure regulator check valve has now began to leak on the stern. Any ideas where to get a replacement? Thank you

I would think that any decent marine store could get one for you.

I assume you are talking about the shore water connection? If so then this is not a Carver part. Probably Jabsco or Shurflo, should be written on it. Tons of places on line will have them. This happens to be the one on my boat. https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=10361

As mentioned, just replace the shore water connection. It is a pressure regulator and check valve combined.
There are two different physical sizes, with two different bolt patterns. Get the matching one so you don't have to modify the mounting holes.

If you have the same type of unit that's in Hans' link then great. If you have a simple inlet fitting such as the link below, Carver installed separate check valve/regulator units a little further in from the outside inlet in some boats of that vintage.
