Hot water for aft shower

Hi,

I have a 1990 3608 ACMY and when I am using city water hook up at the dock I have hot water for the aft shower but when out on the water and I am using the water pressure pump I have hot water in all other faucets except for the aft shower. I am assuming it is a check valve somewhere but I am unable to locate it. Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts? Thank you in advance for your help!

Usually, there is only set of isolation valve(s). Where the shore water tees into the house water pressure line. Should not affect getting hot water to the aft shower. If you have shore water anywhere, you should have it everywhere. Likewise with house water.

Possibly the filter is slightly clogged and the aft shower is the farthest from the pump, thus not getting the water? Or the pressure pump needs a rebuld? It is really a simple thing to do. The standard "filter", more like a strainer bowl, is usually mounted close to the pressure pump. It's a little thing, clear plastic.

After turning off the water, unsrew it and clean it. If that wasn't it, you should be able to take out the pump and rebuild it fairly cheaply and easily. Just get the model number and buy a kit.

That sounds really odd, how long have you owned this ship? I owned a 3608 for 13 years and never saw this. I'd first start at the hot water tank and back check the lines to see if for some reason thru the years someone spliced and "custom fit" the hot water system. As waybomb noted the shorewater check valve is in the main line coming in (somewhere) and should not affect this.
