Master Shower Sump (405 Aft Cabin)

While looking around in the master stateroom floor compartments I noticed the shower sump is mounted on a platform but still sloped along the dead rise angle. Which leaves water standing in the sump. I realize the pump won’t get 100% of the water out,but there’s quite a bit left. In the picture you can see there’s probably 2+ inches in the bottom left and about 1/2” in the top right. If leveled there would probably be 1/2” left after the pump stopped. Have any of you shimmed the sump so it’s level?
Picture attached and you can see the water standing in the corner.

Hi , my 405s pretty level on the little platform and does what it does. the oem uses a rule 500 and separate float switch. So that's been changed in yours, leveling it or shimming may help but anything is worth a shot to get more out. and like you said it won't get everything out. Looks like youd get more water out if it was rotated 180 where the pump is at the bottom of your pic or the deep end sort a speak. At least its clean! Interesting debris guard around the pump. I built a screen "tube" to help stop hair entry to the pump. I've never had a issue with some left over standing anyway

Yes, I had the same issue on our 396, and I just added a dense foam shim under the forward edge of the entire sump box to level it out. I didn't make any changes to how the pump is mounted in the sump. Works great and keeps the level where it should be. Been that way for over a year with no I'll effects.
