Kohler advanced digital control on 7.5 EKD gas generators

Kohler advanced digital control on 7.5 EKD gas generators

Does anyone know what Kohler did with the part change on their advanced digital control. Old number was GM58225 and the new part is GM83744. Did they make any alterations to the part?
