Hi folks, needing to replace a 30A main breaker. The number shown in the manual is 89007-49, but a search turned up nothing. Can anyone provide direction as to where I might locate this? Enjoying the forum, thanks in advance.

Does it not indicate the brand?

I replaced a 90 amp breaker recently and Bristol Marine in Port Credit Ontario found one for me . I forget the brand name but it was an exact replacement. I think your local marine store can get you a 30 amp. Thats a Carver part number that the factory would have to cross reference for you.

Ya call Carver and give them your hull number. They are really helpful and have no problem disclosing OEM part suppliers and will even give you contact info.

The breaker part number is DG3-X0-01-246-131-C which appears to be a Carling number. Now for my next stupid question... how can I take the breaker panel cover off if I cant get to the 3 screws on the left side of the cover. They are blocked by the smoked plexi-glass door :banghead: The door handle won't allow the door to slide open far enough to expose the screws to allow screwdriver access. cant take the handle off, as the screws that attach it to the door are on the back side of the door. Surely I am missing something. thanks.

Try lifting the door panel up and see if it clears the bottom track enough to bring it forward of the track. If it does, you'll be able to then pull it out of the top track.
