Figured I throw this out there since it is really practical. Most of us think big inverters however a couple of smaller ones can do the trick. My TV in the Aft Cabin died so I went to buy a new one. The possibilities for a decent small TV are rather slim, seems like they want you to buy at least a 32".There are 12vdc units out there but they all really suck big time not to mention they cost a lot of money for bad quality. Managed to find a 22" with streaming capabilities however 120V. No problem, use the existing 12v stock wiring and connect it to a mini inverter, plug in TV and you're done. These little guys are smaller than a pack of cigarettes. Have been using it for a couple of months now, no issue.

Better yet install this permanently where you keep your Dyson and it will always charge on the wall rack. How about plugging in your battery charger for your drill? Lots of stuff on the boat requires just a little juice as opposed to requiring a large inverter.
