Perfect. Turn your breaker off at the panel that controls that circuit and wire the fixtures as mentioned above temporarily. Keep the wires separated so the yellows and blacks don't touch each other, tape them if you have to. Then turn your breaker back on and try them. If they work properly, turn the breaker back off, wire them permanently, and fasten them to the wall. Then send us a pic!

I suspect its a straight forward hot 12v feed and as Viper suggested, left side feeds the right. Each fixture having its own switch will not effect the other. Dont be afraid to wire one in temporarily as Viper said. The nice thing about 12v....it does not sting like 110v. :-D
