I am looking to buy a marine battery for a new 16ft boat that I ordered. I'm trying to decide on
GTK Marine Power battery. I will have a 46# trust FCTM, bilge pump, Electric start 25hp Yamaha, depth finder and a few other things running on it. What do you guys suggest? I have a yellow top Optima on my truck now(same battery for 10yrs) and love it but have never used their marine battery before and wonder if it will have enough capacity to run everything for a full day of Bass fishing. Whatcha think guys?

Well, the good thing is that you're not going to need much power to start the motor! The trolling motor is going to take the most juice over time, so that's really the big variable in terms of how much capacity you're going to need. The electronics aren't going to draw a whole lot... maybe 10AH in a day. The trolling motor could use up that much in a half hour (or less!).
Cost and weight are going to be two other big considerations. You could save a LOT of weight by going with a LiFepo4, but it's going to cost a bit.

Well I have a had some bass boats.... with the last one I had three batteries....2 deep cycle 12 volt for the trolling motor use and one start battery for the engine start and some accessories, That would get you thru a few days out but then you had to recharge the trolling motor batteries. The trolling motor batteries will take a hit if it is windy and you use auto troll/hold functions etc, best to be covered.....good luck with your new fishing

boat.....
