OK everybody I’m looking for some ideas and experience. It’s about time for me to replace the batteries on this boat. I’m seeing a lot of talk about lithium batteries for house and AGM for cranking. Does anybody have any experience with Marine lithium batteries? What would you recommend it does have a Knoco charger that is capable of charging lithium, but I’m not sure if there are any other electronic components that would need to be upgraded.
As always thanks so much for your wisdom

I'm still using flooded lead acid batteries. House bank is setup with golf car batteries and engines/Genset regular 12v starting batteries. I use my inverter alot and i have my house sized for my needs .Any can be combined if needed as a backup.
I would ask myself how much are you going to need lithium batteries for a house bank? Sure there are lots of advantages to them if the need is there but if your not going to set up an inverter and need their capacity, Is it really worth their expense when the tried and true flooded batteries are still available and cheaper? As far as agm batteries why? Yep don't have to check water but that's really all the benefit

I'm still using lead acid batteries. Interstate 24 XHD starting, and SRM 29 for house. 5 years old and testing at 90+ percent. No need to spend the big bucks for AGM or Lithium for me.
