Help Identify This - Under Windshield Overhang

Can someone identify what this is? It's underneath the overhang over the windshield - Carver 440 aft cabin.

Looks like a hailer speaker mount.

Yes I would probably agree too. . How many wires are the little cable shown? You might open up the helm to see if you see the same little cable and verify where it goes maybe connected to your vhf.
